Frequently Asked Questions

  • What should I bring to class ?
    A yoga mat, water, and large size towel are necessary as most classes are heated. We do have mat and towels available to rent. Also, please limit your personal items. We do have small cubbies outside of the studio for personal belongings.
  • What should I wear ?
    Wear comfortable workout clothes, we recommend tighter clothing so that it does not get in the way of class. No socks or shoes.
  • What are good classes for beginners ?
    If you are brand new to yoga we recommend trying the yoga fundamentals, dynamic stretch or the hot 26 to get an idea of what to expect in some of the faster paced classes.
  • Where should I park ?
    There is metered street parking located on Magnolia between Lankershim and Vineland. However there is free parking on Chandler between Blakeslee and Vineland, about a block from the studio.

Studio Etiquette

Arrive Early- Arriving early helps to settle the mind and gets you present for your practice and gives you the opportunity to stretch out before you begin.

Injuries- Inform your instructor if you have any injuries or conditions that impact your practice so that they may guide you through modifications.

Phones- Refrain from using phones while at the studio so it may be a place to unplug from your everyday life.

Quiet- Use this time as an opportunity to connect to your breath. Being mindful of keeping conversations quiet, particularly while in the yoga room.

Cleanliness- Arrive to class clean and avoid scents that give off a strong odor such as perfume.

Caution- This is your practice take it at your pace. We are all at different levels so don’t push it.

Clean-up- Wipe up any excess sweat surrounding your mat and put your props back.
